Surveillance cameras captured the entirety of the November mass shooting at an LGBT nightclub in Colorado that left five people dead and 20 injured, prosecutors said.
Footage from video cameras installed in and outside of Club Q in Colorado Springs shows the suspect, Anderson Aldrich, who identifies as non-binary, park their car outside the nightclub before entering and opening fire, Fourth Judicial District Attorney Michael Allen said in court Friday, according to The Denver Post.
“It captured the entire event,” he said.
On Monday, prosecutors slapped the accused shooter with 12 charges based on alleged hate crimes against two newly identified victims in the shooting.

The charges come on top of the initial 305 counts brought against Aldrich in December, including first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, bias-motivated crimes, and attempted murder.
Aldrich is accused of entering Club Q on Nov. 19 with an AR-style rifle and opening fire, killing five and injuring more than 20. Two patrons of the club tackled and disarmed the shooter, holding them until the police arrived.
Aldrich’s next court hearing is set for Feb. 22, when prosecutors will play the surveillance tape.
