Many carried children and whatever belongings they could hold as they trekked through the murky water.

They were among 10,000 migrants who have already arrived and are currently camped out underneath the International Bridge which connects Del Rio, Texas, with Ciudad Acuna, Mexico.
President Biden has vowed to deport the Haitians. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency flights are expected to ramp up this week.
