She’s the apple of their eyes!
Ivanka Trump, pictured lugging a crate of Honeycrisps, Pink Ladies and Rubyfrosts, teamed up this week with Chobani founder Hamdi Ulukaya to deliver fruit, vegetables — and of course, yogurt — to needy families upstate.
The former White House advisor was in Rochester Friday delivering the uber-fresh food boxes, which were stuffed to the brim by local growers.
“This really evolved out of a discussion Hamdi and I had over lunch once day as the holidays were approaching and the dollar is going less far due to inflation,” Trump told The Post.
“The need is very real and certainly no one program is going to fulfill it but every little bit we can do helps and Hamdi and I were both really happy to give back a little bit during the holidays,” she added.
Trump, who noted Rochester was a bit chillier than her new digs in Miami, said she still manages to get back to New York City once or twice a month to visit friends and take meetings.
“I do love the weather in Florida and the ocean, but New York holds a special place in our hearts,” she said.
The upstate jaunt also included a tour of Hurd’s Orchards, a 7th generation family-owned fruit and flower farm and canning company in Holley, New York — just west of Rochester.
