A teenager wanted over a deadly Las Vegas home invasion was busted after leaving his homework in a getaway car, police said.
Math homework featuring Kamari Oliver’s name was found in a backpack inside the car on March 25 after the suspects crashed into a wall outside the victim’s home and fled on foot, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.
“Inside the backpack was a school Chrome Book along with a notebook of schoolwork, specifically math work,” the police report said.
“In the top right corner of the schoolwork, the name ‘Kamari Oliver’ and ‘5th Period’ were written.”
Cops arrested the 18-year-old at a Las Vegas Valley high school last week after realizing he had an unexplained absence for the last two periods on the day of the deadly home invasion.

He has since been charged with murder, robbery, burglary and kidnapping.
Oliver and his alleged accomplices are accused of breaking into the home and demanding money before killing 24-year-old Natalie Manduley in a shootout.
In addition to the backpack, cops said they also found $5,000 in the getaway car.
Authorities said Manduley’s boyfriend was known for selling high-end jewelry on Instagram.
Oliver’s attorney, Dan Winder, told the outlet the facts will show the teen wasn’t involved in the murder.
“I think the evidence is going to show he never went inside of that house,” Winder said.

“He’s an 18-year-old with no prior criminal history as an adult or juvenile. We believe the facts are going to show he was not involved in any murder.”
It wasn’t immediately clear if any other suspects had been taken into custody.
