New video shows the crazed gunman suspected of killing a tourist outside a restaurant in Miami Beach opening fire on passersby just moments earlier.
Tamarius Blair Davis, 22, was allegedly caught on video obtained by The Miami Herald walking down a street in the south Florida city Tuesday while holding a black handgun.
He casually looks down at the gun — and then fires into a crowd of people, who can be seen starting to scatter and yelling, the chilling clip shows.
Davis then casually walks away, apparently heading to the La Cerveceria de Barrio restaurant, where, a few minutes later, he allegedly fatally shot 21-year-old Dustin Wakefield.
Witnesses described a horrifying scene in which Davis opened fire on Wakefield at close range in the outdoor dining section of the restaurant, then danced over his body.
Wakefield, who was visiting from Castle Rock, Colorado, died a “hero” trying to protect his 1-year-old son and wife, Karina, his relatives said.
Davis told authorities he took mushrooms “which made him feel empowered” to shoot Wakefield and another customer, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to a police report.
