A gunman is dead after fatally shooting multiple people and wounding others during a shooting at an Oklahoma hospital on Wednesday night, cops said.
Police responded to the incident at the Natalie Medical Building in Tulsa at around 5 p.m., according to Fox 23 News.
Tulsa cops told reporters at the scene that the shooter was “down.”
Cops also said “multiple” people were wounded and “some, unfortunately, were killed.”
Police described the scene inside as “catastrophic,” KTUL reported.
Streets near the building were closed off due to the investigation.
A reunification checkpoint for families has been set up at Memorial High School on the west side of LaFortune Park, cops said.
The shooting comes just one week after an 18-year-old gunman murdered 19 fourth-graders and two students at an elementary school in Uvalde Texas.
It was not immediately clear how many people were injured or what condition they were in.
