This was not par for the course.
A naked woman allegedly drove a golf cart through the scene of a tense, hours-long standoff between cops and an armed suspect in Florida.
Officers were trying to diffuse the standoff with an armed teen on Sunday when 28-year-old Jessica Smith allegedly drove through the middle of the crime scene in Dunedin, west of Tampa, just after midnight.
Smith, who had nothing to do with the standoff, was in her birthday suit and reeked of alcohol when she rolled through the law enforcement perimeter, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by Fox13.
The woman, who lives in Boston, Massachusetts, allegedly then refused to leave the area.
Sheriff’s deputies eventually pulled her from the golf cart and handcuffed her as the standoff with the armed teen continued to unfold.
She was charged with resisting an officer without violence.
The standoff that Smith allegedly interrupted went on for six hours and involved 18-year-old Myles Abbott.
Abbott allegedly fired a gun at people before climbing onto the roof of a house and pointing his gun at responding officers.
The teen was eventually charged with loitering and prowling, aggravated assault against a law enforcement officer, weapons charges and resisting an officer without violence, according to sheriff’s deputies.
