'Scream' mask robbers terrorize Seattle salon

Armed robbers wearing masks from the slasher film “Scream” held up a Seattle hair salon Sunday.

Three of the four suspects were caught on security camera footage obtained by King 5 News.

The robbers walked into King Way Salon around 6 p.m., brandishing a handgun and demanding cash, the local station said.

“They’re asking me, ‘money, money, money.’  And I said ‘money is over there,’” salon owner Jenny told the station.

The suspects emptied the cash register and robbed several customers, the article said.

“When I think about it I’m still, you know, scared right now,” said Jenny, who didn’t want to give her last name to the station.

“I have to work no matter what, right. I have my kids, my four daughters – I have to take care of them.”

Seattle police reportedly continued to search for the frightening fugitives.

It’s not the first time criminals have donned the mask from the 1996 movie to intimidate their targets.

Hoodlums wearing the ghastly open-mouthed ghost face mask shot and robbed a Bronx man working on his motorcycle in 2010.

That same year, an armed robber tried to hold up a Long Island Dunkin Donuts while wearing the horror film getup. He was thwarted by a dishwasher that sprayed him down with water, The Post reported.

A man in a “Scream” mask shot a teenage girl and another in man in Manhattan in 2018.
