Woman in cat costume, high heels robs Phoenix, Arizona shop

It wasn’t the purrr-fect crime.

A burglar wearing a cat costume and high heels was caught on camera snatching designer handbags from a boutique in Arizona — and now cops are on the prowl for her, according to a report Wednesday.

The mystery woman was disguised in a leopard-print onesie with cat ears and a mask at 4 a.m. Tuesday, when she allegedly busted out the glass back door of Poor Little Rich Girl in Phoenix, police told azfamily.com.

The cat burglar — who was dressed in a “feline-type costume with high heels,” according to police — got her paws on eight purses before apparently realizing she was on camera and quickly bolting, according to the outlet.

The store owner, Catharine Raslavsky, said she hopes the footage makes it easy to spot the leopard lady.

“Maybe people will recognize the costume? Maybe this isn’t the only time the costume has been out,” said Raslavsky.

She said the crook made off with “a couple thousands of dollars” worth of purses, and that the door will be more pricey to repair.

Anyone with information about the break-in should contact the Phoenix Police Department, cops said.
